Ulli Dittmar, owner
I founded California Camping in 2005. As a bus driver and bus camper since 1983, I bring all of my experience to the development of the products. All products are developed by me and the team - only products that meet our expectations and fully meet them make it into the shop and to your ride.
Elena Hlihor
Elena is a textile engineer, she is responsible for the implementation of all our textile products, creates the prototypes and finally, after the prototype has been successfully tested, does the production planning.
She is responsible for the production and the consistently high quality of our products.
Stephan Heinritzi
Stephan is our wild card, he does the incoming goods, the packaging of the products, is responsible for the dispatch and the customer care on site.
He is also a bus driver with heart and soul. If you have any questions, you can of course also turn to him.
Elena
You probably know our T5-T6.1 window bags that we have been manufacturing since 2013.
This is Elena, she makes all the bag fronts, heads our window bags and takes care of the smooth production process.
Marina
Marina is responsible for the back walls and the covers of the bag. She also helps with the production of awning awning sets, with the preparation of the individual parts for the bag production and delights everyone with her good mood.
Anna
At Anna, all the individual parts of the bags come together. She is responsible for the perfect shape of the bags. With your good spatial imagination, the bags get the volume that you appreciate about them. She also helps with the production of the window insulation.
Mirella
Mirella, the woman with strong arms. All window bags are provided with reinforcements by her, she inserts the back panels and checks whether the pockets are faultless - quality control.
Finally, she will pack the window bags for you.
Maria
If you have a hat from us, Maria made it for you. She has been making all hat models in collaboration with Gabi for 4 years.
She knows the model in her sleep and makes it almost blind. They are characterized by a love of detail and accuracy.
Gabi
Gabi is new to the team, she makes all the side panels with windows that can be opened. Using the zipper correctly and without tension is her specialty.
She is also responsible for the windows, blackouts and roll-up doors for the awning awnings.
Nico
He's the youngster on our team. Gifted footballer, individualist, still relatively inexperienced when it comes to camping, but we're working on it. He supports Stephan in the warehouse, assembles kitchens and rear pull-outs. He assembles the accessory sets and assembles the different braces - and ... he is Stephan's son. A family business.
Michaela
Michaela is responsible for the cut. One of the most important steps in manufacturing. If you do not work exactly, the ladies on the sewing machines cannot produce properly. She has a love for detail and works rather pedantically.
These properties benefit us and you too.
George
George is the girl for everything. He takes care of the machines, helps with loading and places the rolls of fabric for cutting (each roll is around 80-100kg). He helps Mirella with the reinforcements and is otherwise the "man" in production. He supports the ladies wherever he can.
Felix Dittmar
Rear pull-outs and roof boxes. If you have a rear pull-out or a roof box from us, Felix has installed, checked and packed it. He is my son, is currently studying and is earning his degree with his work with us. He's already driving a bus, VW T3, and is a camper with heart and soul - where did he get that from?
