We supply MB directly with our Caps. One problem that existed from the beginning was the different heights of the roof. Unfortunately, no logic could be established. MB Neu-Ulm therefore asked us to develop a Cap with attachment that fits on all roofs of the MP 447. So of course we were happy to do it. The result is the cap for the MP 447 with side windows that can be opened and a variable attachment that always fits.

You can order the MP Cap closed, with zipped side windows, with an additional solar window or with an opening above the sunroof window.

The colors:

Silver = goes well with all colors and is particularly good in heat (lower interior temperature when exposed to sunlight)
Anthracite = matches all dark colors
Dark blue = matches dark blue tones
Light blue = the right color for the self-confident camper

The Airtex fabric is characterized by its absolute impermeability to water, robustness and durability.
The hat and the insulating hat effect give you optimal protection in bad and cold weather.

The hat effect:

The cover creates a protective air cushion.

Effect 1: The permanently installed tent bellows no longer get wet.

Effect 2: The insulation effect of the air cushion.

Lower interior temperature in summer, less heat loss through the erected roof in winter.

A constant distance of approx. 4-6 cm between the hat and the roof ensures good ventilation without moisture build-up. You can also order every hat model with windows.

The material and the finish:

Airtex, 195g / sqm, silver coated
Side parts sewn twice, used
10 metal eyelets for securing the hat to the piping strip.
(The positions of the eyelets also allow the hat to be securely attached if you have installed an awning.)

Scope of delivery:

Cap, 2 adapters with folding eyes for the windshield, 8 variable attachments for the side, S-hook & expander rope to attach the cap behind the awning, storage bag with drawstring

Pack size of the bag: approx. 45 x 20 x 5-8 cm
