Please note our winter special, you save €10.00 when you buy the cap and the CaliHeat compared to buying them individually. Our cap and the CaliHeat are the ideal combination for cold days, so nothing stands in the way of ski tours, autumn trips and winter holidays.

Our California roof cover, the so-called "Mütze" or cap, is not only the ideal solution if you want to do autumn or winter camping with your California but also protects against high indoor temperatures and rain in summer.

The Airtex membrane fabric is characterized by its absolute impermeability to water, robustness and durability. The cap and the insulating cap-effect give you optimal protection in bad and cold weather.

The selection of the cap color then refers to the color of the main part (roof / front / rear) and the contrasting color to the side parts. It is recommended to order the roof in silver and the sides e.g. in anthracite, dark blue, light blue, red or orange. The darker the roof color, the more the "Belle Etage" heats up when exposed to sunlight.

The T5 California "cap-effect"

The cover creates a protective air cushion.
Effect 1: The permanently installed cotton tent bellows no longer get wet.
Effect 2: The insulation effect of the air cushion. Lower interior temperature in summer, less heat loss through the erected roof in winter.
A constant distance of approx. 4 cm between the hat and the roof ensures good ventilation without moisture build-up.

Please choose from the options whether you have the Cali up to approx. Chassis number: WV2ZZZ7HZ6H1xxxxxx in MY 2006 (up to approx. model January / 2006) or from this chassis number drive model 2006/2007 (from model series 2007). The difference is approx. 2-3 cm in the lifting height and the windows are straight / parallel to the street (Mod. 04/05 and early 06. has inclined windows in the tent bellows, lower edge ascending to the front) and a different cap accordingly. From chassis number WV2 ... HZ8H ... the roof geometry has been changed again - you will find this cap in a separate product.

Please select the appropriate model with or without windows from the options. The easiest way to find out which cap you have when you look at the standard windows in your roof bellows.

With sloping windows (bottom edge running upwards) you have the old model 04-05, if the bottom edge is straight, it is the new model.

You can order any hat model with or without a window and "open at the top" (for roof luggage systems or solar) or closed. Simply select the combination under Options. If you would like a solar window on the roof, please contact us.

Airtex, 195g / sqm, silver coated Front-roof-rear from one part.
Side parts sewn twice
10 metal eyelets for securing the hat to the piping strip. (The positions of the eyelets also allow the Cali hat to be securely attached if you have installed an awning.)
