The T5, T6 & T6.1 tailgate bag - your retrofit chair storage for the tailgate

One of the best features of the VW T5 & T6 California is the chair bag integrated into the tailgate - this system is now available for all VW T5 & T6 models with the simple "cardboard insert" in the tailgate for retrofitting - not for the models with molded paneling.

Assembly is extremely easy and can be completed by one person (better still a second person to hold it) in less than 30 minutes. The system can be removed at any time without damaging the bus. All required parts and illustrated instructions are included with the bag set. All you need is a hexagon socket, a Torx screwdriver, an 8mm socket and a flat screwdriver - and just 30 minutes.

All functions such as loops, bed conversion, etc. are retained without restriction. A mattress can also be pushed almost to the tailgate.

The bag is made from the same material as our window bags and is reinforced with PP multi-wall sheets (extremely light), it is washable and robust.

You can purchase the chairs separately: aluminum, can hold up to 100 kg (tested by us up to 120 kg and found to be good), extremely light.

Important for all buses with rear boards, storage systems, kitchen modules or sleeping benches - In the upper area, directly under the cover of the rear window wiper motor, the bag is approx. 12 cm.

Attention! The VW chairs from the California Ocean/Coast or Comfortline as well as Beach do not fit in the tailgate pocket!
